1)Hollow block GMT Pallet/What is GMT Pallets?
GMT (glass mat thermoplastic) pallets are innovative plastic process pallets designed specifically for concrete hollow block machines.
This type of pallet has gained immense popularity in China and has been widely acclaimed by customers worldwide.
Traditionally, the options for pallet production in concrete block machines have been quite limited.
Common choices include steel pallets, bamboo pallets, wooden pallets, and PVC pallets.
Our GMT pallets are produced using recycled materials, meticulously molded through a pressing process.
This method results in lower costs compared to PVC and steel pallets.
With a density of 1.2 g/cm³, our GMT pallets are lighter than PVC pallets, which have a density of 1.8 g/cm³. This lightweight characteristic significantly reduces labor costs, making them an efficient choice for concrete hollow block machines.

Advantages of GMT pallets

GMT (Glass Mat Reinforced Thermoplastics) is a revolutionary composite material, combining fiber reinforcement with thermoplastic resin, created through heating and pressurizing. As a globally acclaimed composite material, GMT is considered a key development material for the 21st century.
For instance, our GMT pallet size 850*680, boasts a lighter weight and higher strength compared to others of the same dimensions. It is the lightest option available with exceptional durability.
Comparing impact strength, PVC plate achieves ≤15KJ/m2, while our GMT pallet excels with ≥30KJ/m2 under identical conditions.
In drop hammer tests, GMT pallets only show minor cracks, whereas PVC plates break completely. (See laboratory drop tester below:)
GMT plates feature an elastic modulus of 2.0-4.0GPa, outperforming PVC sheets, which range from 2.0-2.9GPa. The diagram below illustrates the superior bending resistance of GMT plates under the same stress conditions.

With a water absorption rate of less than 1%, our GMT pallets are highly resistant to water.
6.Wear Resistance
Surface hardness measures at 76D. After 100 minutes of vibration under pressure, the pallet remains intact with minimal surface wear of about 0.5mm.
7.Temperature ResistanceGMT pallets maintain their integrity at temperatures as low as -20 degrees without deforming or cracking.
Our pallets can endure high temperatures ranging from 60-90ºC, making them ideal for steam curing. In contrast, PVC plates deform easily at 60°C.
8.Extended Service Life
Theoretically, GMT pallets can be utilized for over 8 years, ensuring long-term reliability.
